I love all things murder. I write crime novels, and am very passionate about my craft. I spend all day, every day either working on my current WIP, researching, blogging, and/or promoting my brand on social media. I try to learn at least one new thing a day.
I’ve authored three novels: A Strangled Rose, Timber Point, and Silent Betrayal, the sequel to Timber Point, and am now working on book three in the series, entitled Mad Rush. Years ago, I wrote children’s book, although I never wanted to pursue publication with those. There are too many celebrities out there writing children’s stories. Although I admire those of you who climb into the trenches with them and don’t stop until you’ve reached your goal.
You can read the first three chapters of any of the above titles by clicking on the title in the sidebar under novels.
My passion has always been crime fiction. I read crime fiction, watch crime TV shows and movies. I’ll take a good murder over a love story any day. That’s just my preference. I certainly would never knock any other genre. Crime just suits me best.
In addition to my novels I’ve written short stories. Some of the titles are: Five Minutes and Out of the Darkness. You can read the stories by clicking on the title in the sidebar under short stories. I enjoy short fiction, but my true passion lies with novels. Which is why I concentrate mainly on novels. Sometimes, though, I get inspired by something and write a short story about it. When I do, I will post it under short stories for you to enjoy.
To me, there’s no better feeling than being sucked into a good book, transported to a different time and/or place and meeting new friends you can root for.
I believe in learning something new every day. I learn in many ways: reading blogs and/or websites, speaking with people, especially the elderly. Elderly folks have wonderful and sometimes heartbreaking stories to tell. And most just want someone to listen. I also gain knowledge from searching the internet for specific questions. Although be careful if you choose this route; there’s an equally amount of terrible advice out there. Writers’ groups are another great resource. I belong to many of them and wouldn’t trade them for the world. Lastly, the multi-authors blog I belong to, Prose & Cons on Blogger. Twenty-two and counting traditionally published authors, some of whom are NY Times Bestsellers, usually teach me something I don’t know.

Humans are fascinating creatures, all with separate views and beliefs. I believe, if we take the time to listen, we will always end up stronger for it in the end.
I post at least once or twice a week and sometimes re-blog other people’s content when I find commentary that I think could benefit my followers.
If you have a post idea, or are looking for something specific, let me know. I just might be able to help you. If I can’t, I will direct you to someone who can.
